Harvest Celebration at Smeck Park

Potato harvesting at Smeck Farm.

Baltimore, Ohio has something to say about harvest time. Moreover, the Harvest Celebration at Smeck Park has some things to teach us about this time of year. See how the sausage gets made, or more accurately… how the wheat gets threshed, the crops get harvested, and the knives get forged. The Harvest Celebration will have farming demonstrations, antique tractors and other farm equipment, pumpkin painting, candle making, live music, hayrides, and even a K-9 unit courtesy of the Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office. That’s really just the tip of the iceberg too, so come on down to Smeck Park on the last weekend of September for an Ohio event to remember.
