Two historic buildings, Hotel Woodside and Grocery Store, will be open for tours. The Temple, cottage tours, Santa’s Workshop, LuLaRoe Boutique and a tour to see all of the decorations is also available. A candlelight dinner with live music will be served in our Cafeteria. To honor the real meaning of Christmas, a nativity drama will be performed on both evenings in the Temple. A shuttle service will be available both evenings.
For the first time ever Lancaster Camp Ground will be partnering with the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves to be a drop off point for toy donations to Toys for Tots. You can bring your donations to the office before December 1 or during either evening of the Christmas Walk. A Marine will be present on Friday evening during the Christmas Walk to receive your donations.
There is no charge to attend; however, we accept donations at the front entrance.
Dinner will be served on both Friday, December 1st and Saturday, December 2nd from 4:30-7:00 pm. Reservations are required and may be obtained at the Camp Ground office between 9 - 5, weekdays, or by calling the office at 740-653-2119. Deadline for reservations is November 22. Cost is $15 Adult / $8 Children in advance or $18 Adult / $9 Children at the door. Cash, check or credit card accepted.
Breakfast, Kids Craft Station, Secret Santa Shoppe, bake sale, pictures with Santa. Tickets in advance only, $6 (children under 2 free). Seatings at 8, 9:30, and 11 am.
Free family-friendly event. Horse-drawn carriage rides, children’s crafts and elf scavenger hunt, pictures with Santa, lots more. Cookies, hot chocolate, and caroling during the tree lighting ceremony at 5 pm.
This holiday celebration is fun for kids of all ages! Enjoy the beauty of nature as you and your family explore Alley Park. Bask in the glow of the bonfires, and share hot dogs, marshmallows, and hot chocolate while listening to seasonal music. Be amazed by the elaborate light displays throughout the park on your way to meet the elves and Mrs. Claus. Listen as Santa tells some fun stories to the whole group. Visit the animals in the nature center. Wood carvers are on hand, and you can also pick up some Christmas ornaments to help support the nature center. Bring your clan for an evening of family fun!
