Did you know that the Georgian Museum officially opened to the public 50 years ago? It’s true! In May of 1976, the museum welcomed its first visitors and has remained a pillar of the community ever since. To celebrate this milestone, the Fairfield County Heritage Association will offer FREE admission to the museum on Saturday, May 2nd to everyone! Come experience this beautiful mansion that has been lovingly restored to its 1832 glory. Filled with Fairfield County artifacts, items belonging to the original owners (Samuel and Sarah Maccracken), and a lower level that includes a Fairfield County History Exhibit, you will be transported back to a time of opulence and historical significance.
