Join us in celebrating America’s 250th birthday at the Fairfield County Community Picnic in the heart of downtown Lancaster. The event begins at 11 a.m. with picnic games and activities for visitors of all ages. At noon, settle in and enjoy live music from the Lancaster High School Percussion Ensemble during Lancaster Festival’s Noon at the Square!
Bring a blanket and relax on the large lawn beside the gazebo or near the fountain, where visitors are encouraged to spread out and enjoy the performance. Grab lunch from local food trucks and street vendors, stop by one of the many downtown restaurants, or bring along a homemade picnic to enjoy with friends and family.
🍋 Free lemonade will be served! Spend a summer afternoon enjoying great music, good company, and a relaxed picnic atmosphere as we celebrate America’s 250th birthday together!
🏆 Special Highlight: The winner of the “America Is…” Writing Contest will receive their cash prize during the picnic and will read their essay aloud!
