In this presentation, artist Jennifer Fons will share her journey of going deeper to find her voice as an artist, and exploring how her roots in traditional quilting have shaped the development of her own body of work. Drawing on the enduring presence of cloth in people’s lives – from beginning to end – she will reflect on the personal meaning, history, and possibilities of working with textiles as an artist. Hosted at the Decorative Arts Center of Ohio, tickets are $5 for members and $10 for the general audience if you reserve your seat in advance. Tickets will be $15 at the door.
