Description

Chapulines are a delicious, seasonal treat at the heart of a vibrant economy. The women who produce, prepare and sell chapulines, known as chapulineras, have fascinating stories to share. In this presentation at the Decorative Arts Center of Ohio, Jeffrey Cohen, Ph.D., professor in the Department of Anthropology at Ohio State University, will take visitors into their world as he shares stories from the chapulineras of Mexico. Price of this event is $15 at the door or $10 in advance ($5 for members).
