Do you love to grill, but are not quite sure what the best cuts of meat are? Then don’t miss
Keller Market House’s Grilling with Local Meats workshop with Tim Craine! Tim Craine has extensive culinary experience, including 6+ years as a manager at
Ale House 1890 where he created menu items and was in charge of their meat program. He also is very involved in the menu design, planning, and execution of
250 Plates and has 25+ plus years in Center of the Plate Marketing with Gordon Food Service (now retired). Grilling is now a year round style of cooking, and let’s face it – everything tastes better grilled! Not only is the enhanced flavor from caramelization and smoky char, but it also offers a social and enjoyable experience for cooking and eating outdoors. Plus cleanup is quick and easy!
In this class, you’ll take some time to learn some beef basics such as:
– Local beef vs. big box beef (like Kroger, Meijer, Walmart, etc.)
– Cooling techniques and the best cuts for each application
– Beef facts and myth-busting
