This year’s Lithopolis Honeyfest will open with a special commemorative program at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, September 11th at the American Legion Post 677 Main Stage in Wilson Park. The ceremony will celebrate America 250 while honoring the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001. The program will feature remarks from representatives of the American Legion and will also recognize local first responders for their service and dedication to the community. The Lithopolis Honeyfest Association invites the entire community to join them as they commemorate this historic milestone, honor those affected by the events of September 11th, and celebrate the spirit of America together.
