Description
Join DNAP staff at Boch Hollow State Nature Preserve to remove Japanese Stilt Grass, an invasive plant found mostly in the area’s preserves’ waterways. This invasive grass carpets the local ecosystem, outcompeting the summer blooms. Interested volunteers can register to help their local preserves by emailing kayla.bowyer@dnr.ohio.gov or calling (740) 380-8918. Registration ends August 20th. Registered guests will get a reminder email before the event. Please bring proper gear for outdoor work, including sturdy shoes, boots, and tick prevention.
