Description
At the Ohio Glass Museum, participants will design a vibrant 4″x4″ glass suncatcher featuring the iconic outline of Carmen Miranda’s face, complete with her signature headdress. Using a clear base piece of glass, guests will layer brightly colored glass fragments to build a dynamic, fruit-inspired headpiece full of energy and flair. Once complete, the artwork will be placed in a kiln and fired through a full fusing cycle, permanently bonding the layers into a stunning, light-catching piece.
This activity offers a playful introduction to glass layering and fusing techniques, perfect for beginners and seasoned creatives alike.
