For over 50 years, the Lancaster Men’s Chorus has brought the joy of group singing to Fairfield County as the longest running community musical group in the area. Support local high school musicians and join the Lancaster Men’s Chorus for its annual Christmas concert, also featuring the Bloom Carroll High School Chamber Singers, under the direction of Mark Yoder. The Lancaster Men’s Chorus, under the direction of Mark Severance, will present “Our Favorite Things” at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 14, at Fairfield Christian Church, featuring a mix of traditional and fun songs appealing to all members of every family. Tickets are $10 for presale, $12 at the door, and you can purchase your ticket here. As a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, they rely on the generosity of their supporters and proceeds from their concerts to give back to the community. So far, they have provided over $135,000 in college scholarships for deserving students pursuing a degree in music.
If you’d like to be a part of this musical tradition, consider making a donation or joining the chorus.
