Description
Quilt historian Ellice Ronsheim observed the beginnings of the art quilt movement and has been curious about the transition from traditional bedcovers to works of art on the walls ever since. In her talk, she will examine their many similarities and conversely, their obvious differences through time, as well as their remarkable changes in culture, technologies and needs over the past 200 years. Hosted at the Decorative Arts Center of Ohio, tickets are $5 for members and $10 for the general audience if you reserve your seat in advance. Tickets will be $15 at the door.
