Description
Join staff for an exploratory hike at Rhododendron Cove Nature Preserve! In this 1.5-mile moderate hike, clime the hills to learn about the ecosystem that makes Rhododendron Cove unique. Catch mountain laurels in bloom and discover the hidden outcroppings of Blackhand sandstone. Be prepared for the weather with proper clothing. The trails can be steep towards the end of the hike, so sturdy hiking boots and trekking poles are recommended. Join them at the Rhododendron Cove parking lot, across from the gas plant.
