Get ready to see some very special parade guests making their way through Millersport! The Sweet Corn Festival Grand Parade begins at 6 p.m., and this year, you’ll want to keep an eye out for some scarecrows joining in on the fun! They’re giving everyone a little sneak peek of what’s coming to the Buckeye Lake Region this fall. The Trail of Scarecrows returns October 1–31, bringing creative scarecrows to communities throughout Fairfield County, including Millersport and Buckeye Lake.
If you’re visiting the region for the Millersport Sweet Corn Festival, consider this your invitation to come back in October and explore the Trail of Scarecrows! Follow the trail, discover scarecrows throughout the region, and vote for your favorites! And if you live in the Buckeye Lake Region, we want you to be part of it! Build a scarecrow and enter it in the Buckeye Lake Region Trail. This year’s theme is America 250, so there are plenty of ways to get creative. Already have some patriotic decorations from July 4th? Turn them into a scarecrow!
