Description
Asiatic Bittersweet is an invasive vine that harms the native trees. Did you know it is a flexible material that is great for making wreaths? At Mambourg Park, you will hike up to one mile to gather some of it and other common forest materials, then go back to the nature center and create a beautiful natural addition to your home’s decor. The class is limited to 12 participants, adults only, so please register here. Meet in the nature center about 5-10 minutes before the program start time. Please do not bring pets to this program. Bring your own drinking water. Potable water is not available at this location. Depending on the season, you may wish to bring insect repellent and sunscreen or sunhat.
