Join the Pickerington-Violet Township Historical Society for an exciting program about an ancient ceremonial site located in nearby Pickaway County. View artifacts from the site and listen to Jim Barr, from the Snake Den Mound Preservation Society, as he describes the history of the mounds and efforts to save them.

The formal program will begin at 2:30 p.m. in the lower level of the museum. (Handicap accessible entrance on the rear of the building.) There will be time for questions at the end of the presentation.

All museum exhibits will be open during the 2-hour open house.
