Buckeye Lake Winterfest – January
This annual celebration combines a prediction of spring’s arrival with early morning fireworks, live music, food and shopping specials, an art show, a Polar Plunge, and more at locations around the lake.

Maple Tapping Festival – March
Join Lancaster Parks and Recreation at Alley Park for the Maple Tapping Festival! Visit log cabin stations to learn about the history of maple tapping in America, then stop by the sugar shack and see the evaporator in action as it cooks down the sap to make maple syrup. Plus, enjoy a pancake breakfast in the lodge!

Spring at the Round Barn – April
Join Vintage & Made Market for a fun, fresh, spring market filled with 150+ talented modern makers, purveyors of authentic vintage finds, mobile clothing boutiques, designers, growers, and bakers gathered from all across the Midwest.

Buckeye Lake PirateFest – May
Ahoy, adventurers! This family-friendly festival includes the Port Royal Pirate Marketplace, the Buckeye Lake Pirate Treasure Hunt, specials and entertainment at nearby businesses and many other activities. Embrace your inner swashbuckler or sea siren and come dressed as a pirate, mermaid, or steampunk!

Friday Night Bandstand – Summer Series
Bring a lawn chair and your favorite dance partner to downtown Lancaster every Friday evening for great music, food trucks and family fun at these free concerts.

Spring Festival Car Show – June
Visit the Fairfield County Fairgrounds for the Annual Spring Festival Car Show by the Lancaster Old Car Club. Don’t miss the fun festivities like the swap meet, 50/50 drawing, craft vendors, and more!

Bottoms Up – June
Bottoms Up is the nation’s first event dedicated to the celebration of midcentury barware culture, focusing on Ohio’s glass history that spans over 100 years. Experience a weekend of vendors, cocktail classes, museum exhibits, local business specials and events, live music, and of course, barware!

Picktown Palooza – July
This 3-day celebration offers a national entertainment line-up, food vendors, Freedom 5k and kids’ fun run, a car & bike show, and plenty of fun for the whole family.

Lancaster Festival – July
The Lancaster Festival is an annual 10-day celebration of art and music. With more than 70 events in 22 different venues, there is something for everyone. Enjoy classical music from the Lancaster Festival Orchestra and see world-class entertainers. You can also enjoy family time at one of the many performances and activities that are free of charge.

ArtWalk – July
Experience downtown Lancaster’s most popular night! Stroll through the beautiful historic area and enjoy the juried exhibitions of local and regional artists in over 30 downtown locations. Enjoy live music on stage, in business locations, and with talented street performers.

Baltimore Festival – August
The Baltimore Festival is an annual event featuring live entertainment, fun rides, lots of tasty food, pageants, and more!

Lancaster BrewFest – August
Sample an assortment of Ohio’s best fresh craft beer, and enjoy live music, trivia, and other fun activities in downtown Lancaster!

Tour de Buckeye Lake – August
Join your friends for this cool bike ride around the lake! Choose a route beginning and ending at the Millersport Sweet Corn Festival grounds in Millersport. Cool off after the ride with craft beer, delicious BBQ, and great live music on the outdoor stage!

Millersport Sweet Corn Festival – August
This celebration of the harvest season features rides, concerts, parades, tractor pulls, a 5K, games, daily prize drawings, and of course, corn!

Corvette Gathering – September
Admire beautiful corvettes from across the region on the streets of downtown Lancaster during the largest Corvette show in Ohio, with music, food, a silent auction, door prizes, and more.

Lithopolis Honeyfest – September
Along with honey extractions, hive inspections, and honeybee information, there’s live entertainment, arts & crafts vendors, kids’ activities, and delicious treats!

Fall at the Round Barn – September
A family-friendly market filled with 125+ talented modern makers, purveyors of authentic vintage finds, mobile clothing boutiques, designers, growers & bakers gathered from all across the Midwest.

Frontier Spirit – September
Come and experience the trials and tribulations that the first settlers in the Ohio Territory endured as they fought for and carved out a home. Frontier Spirit 1799 showcases the events and lives of these settlers featuring characters from early Fairfield County.

Oktoberfest – September
Held at Combustion Brewery & Taproom in partnership with the Pickerington Village Association, this outdoor, family-friendly event offers a morning Beer-Mile race, live music, games & outdoor activities, food trucks, cool costumes, and craft beer.

Trail of Scarecrows – October
Admire scarecrows in all shapes, sizes, and themes during this annual month-long event. Search for the 250+ scarecrows and vote for your favorite in each community!

Days of Knights – October
Explore the Middle Ages in the living history encampment. Passionate reenactors share their knowledge, and historical accuracy is stressed.

Fairfield County Fair – October
Held in early October each year. The “last and best” county fair of the season is your final chance to grab your favorite fair foods, jump on some rides, and be thoroughly entertained.

Wands & Wizards Weekend – October
During this magical weekend, businesses and organizations across the county celebrate all things enchanting and mystical with specials and events!

Freedom’s Never Free – November
This celebration honors our veterans, military, and first responders with a traveling memorial wall, USO dance, inspirational speeches, and more.

Winter at the Round Barn – November/December
This family-friendly holiday market features 100+ talented modern makers, live music & food trucks in two heated barns. Find curated artisan crafted gifts, mobile clothing boutiques, holiday decor, and fresh goods from growers & bakers.

Advent Window Walk – December
A Window into the Holiday Spirit: Nation’s Only Residential Advent Project | Each night of December, a different resident of Historic Downtown Lancaster, Ohio will reveal unique, illuminated window artwork. By Christmas, 24 homes will be lighting up the neighborhood with their festive displays. Additionally, three local nonprofit organizations will create window artwork celebrating Christmas Day, Kwanzaa and Hanukkah!

GlassTown Countdown – NYE (Dec 31)
To celebrate the importance of glass in Lancaster’s history, the community creates a beautiful piece of glass art throughout the year and comes together for a fun party on New Year’s Eve! Enjoy the free, family-friendly street party at Zane Square in downtown Lancaster where you can explore local shops and restaurants!
