Visit the Ohio Glass Museum and Glassblowing Studio for a new exhibit, "Earth, Hand, & Fire" featuring glass from the Dana Shouldis Collection, a 104-piece gift of Fenton Glass given to the museum from the estate of Mary Helen Hunt, and many glass items selected from the Ohio Glass Museum archives. 

Get out to explore and discover the great parks of Fairfield County Park District by taking part in the GeoTrail. The Fairfield County Park District has created 15 caches, each with a short story about its location and a code word inside. If you find them all, use the code words to complete the ExploreFCPD GeoTrail 2023 Puzzle and get coordinates for a bonus cache with neat prizes inside!

Make a beaded craft that can be a keychain, bracelet, fidget, or all three! Pick up a kit at the Fairfield County District Library (219 N. Broad Street) in Lancaster between June 1 and June 17 (while supplies last). All are welcome, though crafts are suggested for adults and teens. 

Intrinsic Luminescence features the work of three outstanding artists. Whether it’s the dreamlike, epic landscapes of Judith Brandon; the poetic figures of Stanka Kordic; or the architectural, sculptural glass forms of Michael Mikula, each of these artists employs techniques that create a sense of inner light. This luminescence emanates through layers of media, subject and abstraction, illuminating the masterful craftsmanship that is fundamental to each artist’s creation.

Visit the ACE Hardware parking lot on Tuesdays from 4 - 7pm from June through September for the Baltimore Farmers Market. Produce,  baked goods, and a variety of natural products are available from a multitude of vendors. This event is sponsored by the Baltimore Downtown Restoration Committee.

Cost is $40 and includes all supplies and your choice of fabric from our scrap stash. Bring your sewing machine and basic sewing supplies for this fun and practical class.
