Join your friends and family for an unforgettable New Year’s Eve celebration!
To celebrate the importance of glass in Lancaster’s history, the community creates a beautiful piece of glass art throughout the year and comes together for a fun party on New Year’s Eve!
Enjoy the free, family-friendly street party at Zane Square in downtown Lancaster where you can explore local shops and restaurants. Drink delicious hot chocolate or carry a drink within the Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area; then capture the memory with a photo next to the glass globe.
Make sure to stick around till midnight as we start the new year off with a bang– a fabulous fireworks show!
Create or Buy Your Own Ornament for the Globe
The giant globe will be covered with more than 500 ornaments. One of them could be yours! Sign up for a Glass Town Countdown glassblowing class and create your own ornament at the Ohio Glass Museum or buy one online or in person!
