May 25: Rock Mill Days 2025 (Milling Demonstration)

Description

May through October | Open three days during the week: Wednesdays & Saturdays 11am-2pm, Sundays 1pm-4pm plus Memorial Day & Labor Day 11am-2pm
Standing 90’ above the gorge of Hocking River Falls is Rock Mill, a restored 1800s gristmill. In 1905, it closed for business and fell into disrepair. After a decade-long restoration effort ending in 2017, it roared to life and milled grain again for the first time in over 100 years! Come see this amazing piece of history, enjoy the view from Rock Mill Covered Bridge, and enjoy the beautiful setting!

Milling Demonstrations
On the last Sunday of each month, May through October, corn will be ground the way it was done 200 years ago! You may even be able to help use the bolter to sift the meal and bag it.
