Named for a small nearby creek, Slate Run Vineyard is a winery located in central Ohio. They welcome you to visit and taste any of their 17 proprietary wines. Wines are available for you to purchase and take home, or allow Slate Run to ship wine to any location in Ohio.
Slate Run Vineyard Winery is a traditional style artisan winegrower that grows grapes and produces wine in a manner different from nearly any other winery in Ohio and elsewhere. All wines are 100% Ohio fruit. All apples are locally sourced from Hugus Orchards, and Concord grapes are from another local Ohio vineyard. Everything comes as locally as possible. There is a unique mixture of soils and micro-climate in their location on a glacial moraine. The objective of their wine growing is to make wines of traditional styling with elements of balance and structure with complexity beyond the simple fruit character.
