Description
Charles Alley Memorial Park has been a city park with the Lancaster Parks and Recreation Department since 1978. This 350-acre park hosts many fun and important events for the community including a Maple Tapping Festival, Frontier Spirit, Pumpkin Hike, Days of Knights, Santa & Friends, and a multitude of field trips and programs for both students and adults. The park has several outdoor picnic areas, 7 miles of hiking trails, 2 lakes, a disc golf course, a log cabin, a covered bridge, and the Goslin Nature Center.
The Nature Center houses an educational center for programming by the outdoor education staff in the lower level. The Great Room upstairs is available to rent for weddings, parties, reunions, conferences, or other special events. The Goslin Nature Center at Charles Alley Nature Park sets the stage for a fabulous wedding day. Wood planked walls and a massive stone fireplace create a charming and rustic setting for your celebration.
