Description

Clear Creek Metro Park features 5,470 acres of woodland interspersed with blackhand sandstone cliffs, ravines and creeks and is home to more than 2,200 species of plants and animals. Forested areas range from Canadian hemlocks and ferns, to oak and hickory, to Ohio’s last remaining colonies of rhododendron.

Clear Creek boasts 10 hiking trails that offer different scenery and many attractions. This is truly a park where there is something for everyone. Some of the trails meander through dense forest, while others are more open and closer to water. They are various lengths to suit visitors who prefer a short stroll or a longer hike. Plus, on the Creekside Meadows Trail you can bring your four-legged friend along!

Visitors can engage in many activities including, fishing at Lake Ramona or Lake Emily, picnicking at various locations throughout the park, exploring Ohio’s largest nature preserve, and much more!
