Description

116+ acres in Pleasant Township in the east-central part of Fairfield county. The main feature of this park is the lodge Robert Mambourg constructed the lodge in 1931.  In the midst of beautiful woods and deep ravines, it came to be his family’s country retreat and a place many visited for ice skating in winter and holiday parties.

The site was acquired in 2003 by a donation from Paul and Barbara Mambourg.

Some of the activities you will be able to enjoy at this park are visiting the Mambourg Nature Center, birding and nature watching, photography, walking, dog walking, playing in the natural play areas, picnicking.

This park is part of the Fairfield County Park District.
