Description
The Mink Hollow Covered Bridge was built in 1887 by Jacob “Blue Jeans” Brandt and has a 54-foot span. It remains in its original location. Because the bridge is not actually in Mink Hollow, Fairfield County historian Charles Goslin argued to have the name changed to what is the longest official name of any bridge in the nation: Mink Hollow Bridge over Arney Run in Oil Mill Hollow Near Borcher’s Mill.
