Jonett Haberfield
Executive Director
Jonett Haberfield serves as the Executive Director of Visit Fairfield County, where she focuses on building strong relationships with industry stakeholders, implementing tourism marketing best practices, and leveraging data-driven strategies to drive growth and economic impact. She leads the development of tourism experiences and initiatives designed to boost Fairfield County’s competitiveness as a prime travel destination. With over 30 years of experience in the tourism industry, Jonett has worked alongside organizations, businesses, and communities to create sustainable, market-ready tourism offerings. She and her husband, John, enjoy life in their adopted hometown of downtown Lancaster.
Courtney Shick
Content Manager
Fairfield County native, Courtney Shick joined the Visit Fairfield County team in July 2024. She is a recent graduate of The Ohio State University with a BA in Strategic Communications. She loves to travel, learn about local & global history, and spend time at Buckeye Lake. Courtney is a part of the marketing team at Visit Fairfield County, she manages the social media platforms along with the websites for Visit Fairfield County & Escape To Buckeye Lake. Courtney invites you to share any any upcoming Fairfield County events, new businesses or short-term-rentals with her. She would be happy to help promote your business or event on the websites and socials media pages!
Jean Comer
Office Assistant
Jean is the Office Assistant for both Destination Downtown Lancaster and Visit Fairfield County, welcoming guests to our office with a smile and a wealth of knowledge! Jean’s first love is family, and she enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband. One of their favorite destinations is Athens, Ohio, to visit their daughter, a photography major at Ohio University. Jean also likes to spend time cooking, baking, and reading. Jean’s favorite thing about working with Visit Fairfield County is that she gets to talk to visitors about their travels and suggest new tourist attractions in Ohio for them to experience. She invites you to stop by the Visit Fairfield County Visitor Center and find new places of your own!
Sydney Belville
Information Specialist
A proud Fairfield Union alumna, she loves her hometown of Rushville, Ohio, and enjoys spending time in Lancaster. She is a recent graduate of Muskingum University with a BA in Digital Media Design and Computer Science. Sydney assists in managing and updating the websites for both Visit Fairfield County and Escape to Buckeye Lake, as well as executing marketing, public relations, and communications with local businesses. When she’s not at work, she loves to travel, read, and spend time with friends and family. She and her fiancé, Caleb, are looking forward to getting married and buying a home in Fairfield County.
