Description
To celebrate the Ohio Canal Era Bicentennial (1825-2025), Fairfield County Park District’s interpretive historian will be available at Lockville Canal Park between 4-5:30 p.m., Saturday, April 19, to chat about his favorite subject – the Ohio Canal.
Bring your questions about life on and around the canal in the mid- to late-1800s. What trade skills were needed? What businesses came about because of the new water highway? What did they eat? Where did children go to school?
