Join local poets and writers, along with the Poet Laureate of Ohio, Kari Gunter-Seymour for an evening of spoken word performance at the Victoria Opera House. Kari is an award winning poet and author, and is the Executive Director of the Women of Appalachia Project. Learn more about Kari’s work here. Numerous other local writers will share their poems and stories as well. Readers will be sharing their original work in a coffee shop atmosphere fueled by Juniper & Ivy Coffee. Admission is free, with donations accepted for drinks, baked goods, and other snacks. All proceeds benefit the ongoing restoration of the historic Victoria Opera House.
