Discover the joy of birdwatching this September! Join this interactive series to learn essential skills, practice with binoculars, and explore helpful apps. From an interactive kickoff at the Wagnalls Memorial Library to guided hikes at our local metro parks, you’ll experience the thrill of spotting native and migrating birds. A fun, all-ages adventure into the world of birds!
Session Dates:
- Thursday, Sept. 4 at the Wagnalls Memorial Library
- Thursday, Sept. 11 at Slate Run Metro Park-Wetlands
- Thursday, Sept. 18 at Chestnut Ridge Metro Park
- Saturday, Oct. 4 at Walnut Woods Metro Park-Tall Pines
All session begin at 6 pm.
What to Wear and Bring:
- comfortable, closed-toe shoes
- binoculars if you have them
- water
