Description

Join Fairfield County Heritage Association for its annual spring meeting and tour the brand new Fairfield County History Exhibit before anyone else! This year’s spring meeting will take place at the Georgian Museum to show off the new exhibit before the museum opens for the season. The Fairfield County History Exhibit is located in the lower level of the museum and features the history of the county from the glaciers onwards. Learn about Chief Tarhe, the first white settlers, the formation of the county, canals, railroads, women’s history, and more! The exhibit also includes the Turner Pioneer Collection and items from the Boys Industrial School (BIS).

Also at the meeting, the properties for the 2024 Tour of Homes will be revealed! There will be heavy hors d’oeuvres and a brief meeting. The tour of the exhibit will be led by Marketing Director Michael Johnson. Tickets for this event are $45/each and can be purchased online (crm.bloomerang.co).
