Join Fairfield County Heritage Association for a showing of Lou Varga’s documentary titled, “Lancaster, Ohio: The Birth of an American Culture.” The popular documentary was first released in 2000 as a celebration of Lancaster’s bicentennial year. The documentary highlights the people and events that helped shape this area’s history. It is informative, entertaining, and a must-see program for anyone interested in how Lancaster came to be.
Lou Varga will be at the screening and will participate in a Q&A following the documentary! Historian Michael Johnson (FCHA Marketing Director & Sherman House Director) will moderate.
This program is free and open to the public. It will take place on the third floor of the Fairfield County District Library.
