What says fall better than orange and clove? Learn the art of soap making at 310 Soap Co’s Fall Soap Making workshop at Keller Market House! You will make your own soap from raw materials using an immersion blender, oils, lye, botanicals, and essential oils. You’ll take home about 25 ounces of soap – the equivalent of 5 full size 310 Soap Co bars. For safety, please wear long pants and closed toed shoes, as you will be working with lye. You will learn about the challenges some essential oils and additives create in soapmaking, soap making safety and chemistry, what makes a skincare product natural, and best practices on applying decoration to soap tops.
Stephanie Warino of 310 Soap Co makes small-batch science-based tallow and goat milk skincare that is completely natural with no artificial fragrance, color, additives, preservatives or dyes. 310 Soap Company’s products are creatively and scientifically formulated so that artificial preservatives, colorants, additives or fillers are unnecessary. Their products stand out and are one of a kind because not only are they locally made in their Ohio Department of Agriculture inspected commercial kitchen, they are also dermatologist recommended!
Choose your soap design! Learn how to create a layered design, drop swirl design, or create a beautifully simple bar with just one color. (You can also request custom scents and designs in advance!
