When the sun sets so late, it can be easy to miss the beauty of a summer night. On this relaxing two-mile hike you will take time, go slowly, and enjoy the stars in the sky and through the trees at Smeck Park. Meet at Cruit House, the log-framed house seen upon entering the park. So that they may begin on time, please arrive just before 8:45 p.m. Please do not bring pets to this particular program. Bring your own drinking water. Potable water is not available at this location. Depending on the season, you may wish to bring insect repellent and sunscreen or sunhat.
