Join Dan Chavkin, author of Star Trek: Designing the Final Frontier, during Bottoms Up for a special Zoom event that will explore how Star Trek’s visual style embraced the optimism and innovation of midcentury modern design through the clean lines and bold colors of the vessels’ interiors to the minimalistic furniture. A Zoom watch will be available in the Wendel Center for Art Education at DACO. Afterward, feel free to check out the Star Trek & Worlds Beyond exhibition taking place in the gallery space of the historic Reese-Peters House, a fully renovated 1835 mansion now operating as a museum! Entry to the museum is FREE!
