Native flowers provide so much for the pollinators! Learn about native plants, how to find them, and how to your add them to your landscape at Lockville Canal Park. Get hands-on experience helping start a garden right there in the park! If you plan to help plant during the program, please bring your own garden shovel. Please, do not bring pets to this program. Meet in the picnic shelter just before 2:00 p.m. There are no restrooms at this location. Bring your own drinking water. Potable water is not available at this location. Depending on weather conditions and the time of year, you may want to bring sunscreen, a sunhat, other clothing appropriate to weather conditions, and/or insect repellent.
