Description

“Saving the planet. One Honey Bee at a time.” Along with honey extractions, hive inspections, and honeybee information, there’s live entertainment, plenty of arts & crafts vendors, and delicious treats. Free admission, parking, and shuttle!

Enjoy two fascinating days of unique attractions – honey bee beards, honey in a variety of flavors, colors, and textures; and an array of products direct from the hive. Watch honey being extracted from the comb and observe a state-mandated hive inspection. Learn interesting facts and information from daily educational presentations. Meet this year’s American Honey Princess and Ohio beekeepers. See a real queen bee and her colony up close behind a glassed-in observation hive.

Enter the Ohio Honey Show, Honey Bake-Off, and ECOBA Photo Contest. Buzz over to the food courts for scrumptious honey-made food, and sample mead at the wine tasting tent. Grab a honey brew at the Bloom-Carroll Kiwanis Honey Brown Beer Garden and enjoy a treat from the Honey Bake-Off sale. Listen to fantastic live music, shop the best of arts & crafts, and watch the kids create take-home crafts at the Gilmore Group HER Realtors Busy Beehive.

Hours are 3-7 p.m. on Friday and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday.
