Description
Free your inner artist! Anyone who wants to paint or sketch in plein air, come! Artists who would like help or suggestions may ask the experienced advisor who will be on hand at each session. Lisa Schorr the Director of Arts Education for the Decorative Arts Center of Ohio, will be the advisor. As is customary in a plein air setting, bring your own chair or stool, easel or drawing board, and art supplies. An artist may use his choice of medium – oil, acrylic or watercolor paint, charcoal, pencil, etc., plus canvas or sketch pad.
Depending on weather conditions, sunscreen and/or insect repellent may be advised. You may also want to bring your own drinking water. Wander public areas of the parks/preserve and select a location that inspires you! Need suggestions? They will be glad to help find a spot that ‘speaks’ to you! Pets are welcome. They must be under control at all times and on a leash no longer than 6’. For the health and safety of all, pick up and properly dispose of pets’ waste. As you wish, come to any or all of the Monday sessions!
