Description

Located within the Clear Creek Metro Park, Clear Creek Nature Preserve is the state of Ohio’s largest nature preserve. The park is a popular destination for birding, trout fishing, and hiking.

Clear Creek Metro Park offers almost 5,000 acres of woodland interspersed with Black Hand Sandstone cliffs, ravines, and creeks.  The park is home to more than 2,200 species of plants and animals. Forested areas range from Canadian hemlocks and ferns to oak and hickory, along with one of Ohio’s last remaining colonies of rhododendron.

This is Ohio’s largest state nature preserve.
