Description

This building was built in the mid-1940s by Roy Huntwork as a Mobil Service Station. Huntwork Insurance Agency was housed upstairs at a later time. Clarence “Dude” Harrel operated this site as a Standard Oil station from 1950 until 1982. It was later home to the Violet Township administrative offices. It housed a substation of the Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office before being purchased by the City of Pickerington.
