The Lancaster Thunder is a minor league basketball team based in Lancaster. The Thunder is a member of the Premier Basketball League (PBL) and the Professional Basketball Association (PBA). This means that the team has both a summer and winter season – more opportunities for you to enjoy some great basketball! Ohio University–Lancaster is now the home of the Lancaster Thunder.

The Professional Basketball Association is a summer league. The PBA regular season ends at the end of August and playoffs are in September.

The Premier Basketball League regular season begins in January and ends in April. The playoffs begin in May.

Home games are broadcast live on the Lancaster Thunder YouTube channel for those who are unable to make it to the game.
