Moore’s Restaurant and Pool Hall

Description

These local hangouts were owned and operated by Walter “Butch” & Wilma Moore until 1983. The family lived above the pool hall which also housed a card room where games might last 2-3 days. At one time, the pool hall building housed Caldwell’s Grocery Store (seen in the photo). The cook stove, used by Wilma to make her famous soup, and photos hung in the pool hall can be seen at the Historical Society Museum.
