Description

The Shryer Covered Bridge (aka Shreyer) was built of multiple king post truss construction in 1891 with a length of 65-feet over Paw Paw Creek. The bridge is built on a decided skew; the north side of the bridge extended a few feet farther west at the west end, and the south side of the bridge extended a few feet farther east at the east end. It was reconstructed in 1987 on the Shreyer Egg Farm. This bridge is on private property.
