Description

The Stemen House Covered Bridge, (known as the Estates Covered Bridge) was built in 1888 and moved in 1978 to Covered Bridge Estates. It was originally over Sycamore Creek and was 72-feet long. During the reconstruction, damaged and decayed sections were removed leaving the bridge at its current length of 36-feet. This is the only covered bridge in Fairfield County open to vehicular traffic.
