Description
An arboretum is home to a wide variety of trees and shrubs. These botanical gardens are often used for education and research as well as for ornamental purposes. A trail winds through the Sycamore Creek Arboretum for about a half-mile. The beginning and end of the path lead to clearings along Sycamore Creek where people can enjoy the stream. Thanks to the arboretum and other community efforts, Pickerington has been recognized as a National Arbor Day Foundation Tree City USA for more than 20 years.
