Description
The Fairfield County District Library is a continuous learning center which enriches the community by inspiring choices for reading, entertainment, and lifelong learning which are free and accessible to all, with an emphasis on excellence in customer service. Lancaster’s first library was built in 1833 before it moved to its current location in 1980.
The third floor of the Fairfield County District Library serves as a meeting room and art gallery presenting exhibitions that promote rich and diverse artistic expression for the visual arts for the community. The Gallery provides an exciting opportunity for local and statewide artists to display their work. Exhibitors interested in displaying artwork in the Gallery should contact lyost@fcdlibrary.org.
