Description
In the Spring Wildflowers Walk Series (April-May), you will observe the everchanging woodland landscape as early blooms came and went. On this final spring walk, the focus will turn from the fading wildflowers to the many species of native ferns to be found at Wahkeena Nature Preserve. Join their naturalist for a walk on the forested trails (approximately 1.5 to 2 hours). Wildflower and fern identification, folklore, and other topics of natural history will be discussed along the way. Bring your own drinking water. Pets are never allowed in any nature preserve.
