Beginning October 1st

No Autumn experience is complete without exploring the Trail of Scarecrows! Did you know that Fairfield County is the Scarecrow Capital of Ohio? Visit the Trail to find out why!

Now in its second year, the Trail of Scarecrows showcases the creativity and community spirit of hundreds of Fairfield County residents, organizations, and businesses. Folks in 14 communities across the county will be showing off their scarecrows throughout the month of October.

This is your chance to show all of your friends that you’re in the spirit of the season. Explore the Trail of Scarecrows, take selfies with your favorite creations, and share them online!

How to share your 2020 Trail of Scarecrow Experience:

  • Explore the Trail of Scarecrows in one or all of the 14 communities across Fairfield County
  • Take a photo of yourself with your favorite scarecrow display
  • Share your photo in a Facebook or Instagram post by tagging @visitfairfieldcounty and #FCScarecrows, and/or uploading directly to this page (see below).
