Description

You know owls have amazing night vision. Imagine a football field that is completely dark. If an owl was at one end of the field and a mouse on the other, the owl could see him perfectly! Did you know you also have night vision? Come, learn about nocturnal animals, then outside for a one-mile hike in the dark at Mambourg Park. Please do not bring pets to this particular program. Meet in the nature center just before 8:30 p.m. Bring your own drinking water. Potable water is not available at this location. Depending on the season, you may wish to bring insect repellent, sunscreen, sunhat, or other weather-appropriate clothing.

If severe weather is forecast or before traveling a long distance to attend, it is recommended you check to be sure the program has not been canceled, postponed, or rescheduled. It is best to check the program in the Events section of their Facebook page, their website’s Calendar of Events, or call 740 652-4422 or 614 321-4833 ext 103.
