Over one thousand species of moths are found in Ohio, and over 300 call Wahkeena State Nature Preserve home! Join naturalists for a midnight mothing foray where visitors can mill between the mothing sheet outdoors to a selection of live native Ohio caterpillars on display inside the nature center. This program is for adults, ages 16+. Feel free to bring camera gear! Bring your own drinking water. By the time the program is over, the pathway to the parking lot may be very dark, so might also want a flashlight to help you get back to your vehicle. Pets are never allowed in any nature preserve.
