Fairfield County Festival of Lights | November 28-December 25
Keller Farms presents the annual Festival of Lights at the Fairfield County Fairgrounds! This event features Santa and other characters, with a full concession stand from Thursday to Saturday, a hot cocoa stand from Sunday to Wednesday, and kettle corn. Bring the kids or make it a date night to view holiday lights this season! There will also be themed nights, scavenger hunts, and gift bags on select nights.
Fontanini Nativity Display
Walk through the nearly life-size nativity display and experience Christmas in a unique way at this indoor event featuring Fontanini figures only at Crossroads every Sunday, Wednesday, and Friday in December. The event is free admission and is open from 6 to 9 p.m.
A Rock Mill Holiday | December 1
Take a break from the hustle and bustle of the holiday season with a visit to this historical site – Rock Mill, a restored gristmill from the early 1800s. Enjoy cookies and hot drinks as you admire the holiday tree that was donated by local farm, Saum Family Farm. Plus, each visitor will receive a ticket that will be drawn for a chance to win your own tree! New, unwrapped toys for Fairfield County Protective Services’ Holiday Donation Drive (JPF) will be collected at this event. Please bring a toy with you if you would like to make a donation.
Advent Window Walk | December 1-January 1
Experience a real-life advent calendar with the Advent Window Walk in downtown Lancaster! Each night of December, a different resident of Historic Downtown Lancaster, Ohio will reveal unique, illuminated window artwork. By Christmas, 24 homes will be lighting up the neighborhood with their festive displays. Additionally, three local nonprofit organizations will create window artwork celebrating Christmas Day, Kwanzaa and Hanukkah!

The Vintage & Made Market is hosting a one-day holiday indoor market featuring a highly curated gathering of vendors of vintage, handmade, curated new, boutique clothing, food trucks, and live music. Come shop with 80+ hand-picked small businesses on Small Business weekend inside two heated barns at the Fairfield County Fairgrounds. This market is designed to be a more intimate holiday shopping experience where you can meet the makers, fill those holiday shopping lists, and deck your halls with all the best vintage and handmade goodness by talented makers and pickers from across the Midwest. Enjoy live music and yummy food truck options for a fun day of holiday shopping, supporting small businesses, laughing and memories made.
Pickerington Holiday Gathering & Tree Lighting | December 6
With over 15 holiday activities, join Pickerington Village for the annual family-friendly event from 5-8 p.m. Many participating businesses provide a place to warm up and offer free activities and treats. Enjoy live music in the gazebo with the tree lighting at 5:30 p.m.!
A Christmas Carroll | December 7
Officially begin the holiday season in Carroll, Ohio, featuring a craft show, Fun Mile (costumes and ugly sweaters encouraged), free snacks and hot chocolate, and a visit from Santa! There will also be carolers, a food and toy drive, free crafts for kids, free holiday hayrides, and the annual lighting contest.
Winterfest & Tree Lighting | December 7
Join Destination Downtown Lancaster and the community for this year’s WinterFest and tree lighting on Saturday, December 7. Make memories and enjoy free horse-drawn carriage rides, visits with Santa, family activities, a scavenger hunt, holiday music, and much more! Be sure to stay downtown for the tree lighting that starts around 4:45pm at the bandstand in Zane Square.
Village of Millersport Holiday Festivities | December 8
This event kicks off with a holiday parade beginning at the Millersport Elementary School (Lancaster Street) and ending at Mathias Miller Park. Following the parade, enjoy the tree lighting, a visit with Santa, Christmas carols, along with entertainment from the Millersport Community Theatre and seasonal refreshments at Mathias Miller Park!
A Very Merry Stoutsville | December 14
Visit the quiet town of Stoutsville for a fun-filled Christmas day! The day’s activities begin at 11a.m. and will go throughout until the parade begins at 6p.m., with Santa available to visit at the Fire House after the parade.
Holly Jolly Trolley | December 15
It’s a Christmas pajama party, and you’re invited! Make the holidays extra special this year with the family-friendly event, the Holly Jolly Trolley, hosted by Fun Bus Adventures. There will be a festive scene set up for photos, holiday giveaways, snacks and refreshments, and gifts to take home. Plus, participate to win a prize for Best PJ’s and movie trivia!
